Please welcome Broadway Rose’s newest teen performance troupe: BROADWAY BOUND! This elite group of talented young men and women will rehearse and perform a full season of musical revues and musical theater productions.

Broadway Bound Holiday Revue 2008

Broadway Bound Musical Theater Revue 2009
Rehearsals: Tues/Thurs • Jan. 13 - Mar. 5

DETAILS
• Open to high-school aged students.
• Teens must audition for each production.
• Fee is $250, which includes a Broadway Rose t-shirt.

Participants will rehearse for eight weeks culminating in a spectacular performance of solos, duets, and/or trios as well as full cast musical numbers on Broadway Rose’s New Stage! Broadway Bound members may also be called on to perform at various venues in the community and serve as ambassadors of The Broadway Rose.

We are holding auditions for Broadway Bound’s Holiday Revue on September 17, 2008.

MASTER THE MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITION
Do you want to shine at your next musical audition (who doesn’t!)? Have you ever wondered what your personal assets are and how to showcase them best? Do you want to eliminate the obstacles that stop you from leaving an audition feeling great? This is the workshop for you! This workshop will help guide you through the keys to a successful musical theater audition, addressing both the performance and presentational aspects of an audition. Learn how to take your auditions to a higher, more effective level and get a leg-up on the competition!

• Enrollment: Limited to 12 students
• Age: Two sections of this class are offered:
Teen (Monday afternoons) and Adult (18+; Monday evenings)
• Length: 6 weeks
• Fee: $250

PRIVATE COACHING
Wade Willis is also available for Private Performance Coaching. Wade’s coaching students have gone on to win competitions, get cast in their desired role and be awarded college scholarships. Single coaching sessions as well as recurring appointments are available.

• $40 per 1-hour session
• $150 for four 1-hour sessions

MUSICAL THEATRE REVUE WORKSHOP
One of the best ways to learn the musical theater ropes is to put together and perform a Musical Theatre Revue! Are you ready to put your training into practice? In this six-week workshop, students will rehearse and perform a 45 minute musical revue. Each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo, duet, and/or trio and full cast musical numbers on Broadway Rose’s New Stage! Spaces for this workshop fill up quickly; don’t miss this incredible opportunity to advance your musical theatre training! No auditions required.

Session 1: Musical Theatre Workshop

• Length: 6 weeks

Session 2: Encore: Musical Theatre Revue
Adults, Parents, and Grandparents encouraged!
• Enrollment: Limited to 12 students
• Age: Adult (18+)
• Length: 6 weeks
• Fee: $250

Fall term begins October 12, 2008. Classes will be held at Broadway Rose’s New Stage.

Unless otherwise noted, all workshops will be taught by Wade Willis, The Broadway Rose’s Education and Outreach Manager. Wade has an outstanding résumé and years of teaching and performing experience. He has significant teaching experience and his performing credits include Broadway Rose Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Lakewood Theatre Company, & the Colorado Symphony.
