Sharon Maroney - Producing Artistic Director
Raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Ms. Maroney graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in Theater Arts in 1980 and spent ten years studying and performing in New York City. She is a member of Actors Equity and AFTRA.
Along with her husband, Dan Murphy, Ms. Maroney founded The Broadway Rose in 1992. Since that time she has produced 88 productions and has directed many shows for The Broadway Rose including Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof, Bye, Bye Birdie, Phantom, The Will Rogers Follies, A Christmas Survival Guide, and The Gifts of the Magi. She has also directed for Prather Productions and Millbrook Playhouse. Ms. Maroney has written several children's shows for The Broadway Rose and co-wrote the 2005 Broadway Rose holiday show, Broadway Goes Christmas. She continues to perform on stage at Broadway Rose and other local Portland area theaters.
Ms. Maroney has studied non-profit management at Technical Assistance for Community Services since 1996. She is involved with the Westside Cultural Alliance and currently serves on the board of the National Alliance of Musical Theatres (NAMT).

Brisa Trinchero - Executive Director
Born and raised in Lake Oswego, Ms. Trinchero is a life-long lover of musicals and is passionate about sustaining and promoting the growth of The Broadway Rose and preserving and enhancing the musical theater art form. Ms. Trinchero received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Portland and attended Whitman College. She is also a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute in New York City and the Art of Leadership program at the Northwest Business for Culture and the Arts.
Ms. Trinchero came to The Broadway Rose Theatre Company in 2001. She oversees all business operations and fundraising for the organization, and works closely with the board of directors and artistic director to establish and implement strategic goals for keeping high quality musical theater alive and well in the Portland metro area.
Ms. Trinchero is an active member of several civic and cultural organization including City Club, Portland Civic Theater Guild, Willamette Valley Development Officers and the National Alliance of Musical Theater.

Dan Murphy — Founding General Manager
One of 11 children, Mr. Murphy was raised in Larchmont, New York. He met his wife, Sharon Maroney, while performing at a theater in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania. Together they founded The Broadway Rose. Since 1992 he has been leading the box office administration and operations of the theater, as well as being responsible for the accounting and bookkeeping.
Mr. Murphy is a member of Actors Equity, AFTRA, and the Screen Actors Guild. He has directed, choreographed and performed in numerous shows at The Broadway Rose including Pirates of Penzance, Hello Dolly!, Once Upon a Mattress, Forever Plaid, Nunsense, and Christmas of Swing. In addition, he has directed and choreographed several award winning shows at other Portland area theaters, and was the resident choreographer for the American Classic Voyages cruise line for several seasons.
Mr. Murphy is deeply involved in the community. He works closely with the high school students in the Tigard/Tualatin School District, directing their annual musicals for the past six years, as well as choreographing for Southridge High School. In addition, he is an active member of the Tigard Rotary and the Tigard Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board for three years, one as President.
